On WestSouthwest, how does someone come to the attention of Immigration and Customers Enforcement agents? And a Kalamazoo woman who came out as a lesbian in the 1980's talks with her mom, about how it changed both their lives.

Kalamazoo doctor Lukasz Niec is facing possible deportation because of two criminal convictions , both of which happened more than 25 years ago. Michigan Immigrant Rights Center Managing Attorney Susan Reed says under the current framework it doesn't matter that convictions are decades old. Reed also discusses the "chilling" prospect of "police encounters" leading to attention from Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents.

Dana Scott came out as a lesbian in the late 1980's. Recently at a reunion in Kalamazoo of the lesbian group Lavendar Morning, Dana sat down with her mom Jeannie Scott to talk about what that meant to both of them. WMUK's Sehvilla Mann brings us their story.
