A new study from the Upjohn Institute for Employment Research shows an increase in the college graduation rates of Kalamazoo Public School students. Economists Tim Bartik and Brad Hershbein explain how the Kalamazoo Promise has helped more students get a college degree.

Southwest Michigan's Second Wave Craft Beer Writer Jeremy Martin finds many ventures are launching in Kalamazoo because of craft breweries. He tells WMUK's Gordon Evans how craft beer and the spin-off businesses are bolstering Kalamazoo's reputation for innovation.

Gordon Evans became WMUK's Content Director in 2019 after more than 20 years as an anchor, host and reporter. A 1990 graduate of Michigan State, he began work at WMUK in 1996.
