On WestSouthwest, we have a rebroadcast of our interview with Western Michigan University Professor Mitch Kachun on his book about the "First Martyr of Liberty."

Mitch Kachun says he wanted to use his book to explore question about who is included in American history and who is ignored. Kachun's book is called First Martyr of Liberty: Crispus Attucks in American Memory. Kachun joined WMUK's Gordon Evans for an interview that originally aired in November.
