On WestSouthwest, a study recommends more housing in downtown Kalamazoo. And the Executive Director of the Food Bank Council of Michigan says "hunger is not inevitable." 

An analysis of Kalamazoo's housing market says another 1,400 housing units should be developed over the next five years. Andrew Haan with the Governor's Office of Urban and Metropolitan Initiatives discusses the desire to live closer to the city's center.

The Executive Director of the Food Bank Council of Michigan says hunger can be eliminated, not just alleviated, in Michigan. Phillip Knight explains why he thinks the political climate is right for taking on hunger.
