Western Michigan University Political Science Professor Mark Hurwitz joins us to review the Supreme Court's gay-marriage decision. Hurwitz says it fits into how the court has traditionally dealt with major civil rights issues.

Commentator Gary Wilson recently wrote for Great Lakes Echo about why environmental justice isn't a priority even for many environmental groups. Wilson tells WMUK's Gordon Evans some of the reasons why it isn't a priority and how that could change.

Gordon Evans became WMUK's Content Director in 2019 after more than 20 years as an anchor, host and reporter. A 1990 graduate of Michigan State, he began work at WMUK in 1996.
