On WestSouthwest, a study on the business case for racial equality. And state Senator Tonya Schuitmaker discusses preventing sexual assault on college campuses and road funding. 

  

The Altarum Foundation has prepared a report on The Business Case for Racial Equity in Michigan.  The study was funded by the W.K. Kellogg Foundation. The foundation's Director of Michigan Programs Ali Webb discusses the report's findings, and its implications for businesses in Michigan.

State Senator Tonya Schuitmaker will be one of the co-hosts next week for a summit organized by Michigan First Lady Sue Snyder on preventing sexual assault on college campuses in Michigan.  Schuitmaker also discussed Michigan's on-going debate over road funding with WMUK's Gordon Evans and Kalamazoo Gazette Reporter Emily Monacelli. 

Gordon Evans became WMUK's Content Director in 2019 after more than 20 years as an anchor, host and reporter. A 1990 graduate of Michigan State, he began work at WMUK in 1996.
