On WestSouthwest, we meet the new director of Pretty Lake. And  an update on the debate over taking water out of Lake Michigan. 

Eric Wimbley takes over as executive director of Pretty Lake on June first. He tells Earlene McMichael about his plans for the Mattawan-based for under-served youth. 

The city of Waukesha Wisconsin made the first request to withdraw water from Lake Michigan five years ago. Great Lakes Echo Commentator Gary Wilson explains how the process has worked leading up to next month's scheduled vote. 

Gordon Evans became WMUK's Content Director in 2019 after more than 20 years as an anchor, host and reporter. A 1990 graduate of Michigan State, he began work at WMUK in 1996.
