On WestSouthwest, a study on the link between location and economic mobility. And what we can expect from this year's fruit crop in Southwest Michigan.

A Harvard study on economic opportunity finds that where you live determines how easy it is to climb the economic ladder. According to the report, Ottawa County is one of the best places in the country for poor children to improve their economic standing as adults. While Kalamazoo County does not fare well in the study. Gordon Evans talks with pre-doctoral fellow Jamie Fogel, a member of the project's research team.

If you're wondering how this year's fruit crop in Southwest Michigan is likely to turn out,  Mark Longstroth says blueberries could break last year's record crop. The Paw Paw based educator with the Michigan State University Extension Service tells Sehvilla Mann that the cherry crop may be overabundant.
