On WestSouthwest, the early signs of an expensive political year in 2018. And the state of the craft beverage industry. 

The Michigan Campaign Finance Network finds that the Republican and Democratic fundraising committees for state legislature had a big first quarter. Network director Craig Mauger says the numbers indicate that 2018 could be a very expensive election year.

MiBiz examined the state of the craft beverage industry. Staff writer John Wiegand tells us about the challenges for craft brewers. Plus why those businesses keeping an eye on the debate over the federal budget and when marketing their beer pushes the envelope.
