On WestSouthwest, Western Michigan University's new vice president of development and alumni relations Tim Terrentine. And the problem of light pollution and health benefits of darkness. 

Tim Terrentine took on his new role at Western Michigan University this fall. His career includes working for economic development agency Southwest Michigan First. Terrentine talks with Earlene McMichael about work, life, mentors and more.

Light pollution makes star-gazing more difficult, but it may also be hazardous to your health. The editor of Sky and Telescope Magazine J. Kelly Beatty talks with Rebecca Thiele. Beatty will speak Friday night at the Kalamazoo Astronomical Society's 80th anniversary celebration. 

Gordon Evans became WMUK's Content Director in 2019 after more than 20 years as an anchor, host and reporter. A 1990 graduate of Michigan State, he began work at WMUK in 1996.
