On WestSouthwest, we hear from Southwest Michigan First CEO Ron Kitchens. And State Representative Dave Maturen tells us why he's running for re-election.

Southwest Michigan First was created in the late 1990's to stop the loss of jobs and bring new opportunities to the region. The economic development agency's CEO Ron Kitchens tells Earlene McMichael how more jobs have come to Southwest Michigan.

State Representative Dave Maturen is running for re-election in the 63rd district. The Republican is in his first term representing the district that includes parts of Kalamazoo and Calhoun counties.
