On WestSouthwest, we sit down for the first time with the new President of Kalamazoo College. And we continue our interviews with state House candidates with the Republican running in the district that includes Kalamazoo.

Jorge Gonzalez became president of Kalamazoo College in July. WMUK's Earlene McMichael talks with him about his background, and what brought him to K-College.

Alex Ross doesn't graduate from Kalamazoo College until early next year. But he's hoping to start a new job before then. He's the Republican candidate in the 60th state House district, which includes the city of Kalamazoo.

Gordon Evans became WMUK's Content Director in 2019 after more than 20 years as an anchor, host and reporter. A 1990 graduate of Michigan State, he began work at WMUK in 1996.
