We hear from two Democratic candidates challenging Republican incumbents on WestSouthwest.

Western Michigan University Political Science Professor Paul Clements is running for U.S. House. He is challenging long-time Republican incumbent Fred Upton in Southwest Michigan's 6th Congressional District.

South Haven School Board member Annie Brown is running for state House in the 66th District, which includes all of Van Buren County and northwest Kalamazoo County. She is challenging Republican incumbent Aric Nesbitt.

WMUK has invited candidates for statewide office, Congress and the state Legislature for interviews.
