On this edition of WestSouthwest, we rebroadcast interviews from earlier this year about politics and baseball.

Mother Jones reporter and Portage Central High School graduate Andy Kroll discussed his story of how Michigan became a "Right to Work" state. The interview with Kroll originally aired in February.

Former Battle Creek Enquirer reporter Jeff Karzen's book about the Homer High School baseball team's remarkable run between 2004 and '06 is now in its second edition. Karzen spoke with WMUK's Gordon Evans in January.

Gordon Evans became WMUK's Content Director in 2019 after more than 20 years as an anchor, host and reporter. A 1990 graduate of Michigan State, he began work at WMUK in 1996.
