Author sues now-defunct Calhoun county publisher

Albion author says he is working with others on possible class action lawsuit
MARSHALL - At least one author who published books through the now-defunct 2 Moon Press has taken legal action against the company. Albion resident Bernard Zeitler filed a complaint last week in Calhoun County's 10th District Court, listing both former CEO Don Semora and the self-publishing company's most recent owner, Melinda Lundy, as defendants.

Closure of self-publishing company sparks investigation

Owner says there are no immediate plans to reopen
MARSHALL - The Marshall Police Department has begun an investigation into the abrupt shutdown of a local self-publishing company that was purchased by a long-time employee earlier this year. Sgt. Josh Lankerd said Friday the department has received about 25 complaints about 2 Moon Press since May 8.
