Michigan grows a bumper apple crop

Industry officials say Michigan will produce about $900 million worth of apples this year.
Michigan apples are back - and in a big way. The U.S. Apple Association said today it expects the state to produce 30 million bushels - welcome news after last year's whacky spring weather devastated 90% of the overall apple crop.
