KVCC Board Approves Contract with Part-Time Faculty

KALAMAZOO, MI - The Kalamazoo Valley Community College Board of Trustees on Tuesday ratified a three-year contract with the KVCC Federation of Teachers, which represents the part-time faculty at the college. It is the first contract for the KVCCFT, which was formed in 2012.

Former Community College Official in Dowagiac Charged

Lake Michigan College Launches First Four Year Degree Program

BENTON TOWNSHIP - The moment's been on the horizon for awhile, but Lake Michigan College can now grant four-year degrees. Students can start enrolling this fall in the college's energy production and distribution management program, for which they can earn a bachelor of applied science degree, which marks a historic moment for LMC, President Bob Harrison said.

KVCC raises in district tuition 5%

KALAMAZOO, MI -- Kalamazoo Valley Community College's Board of Trustees voted to raise tuition 5.4 percent for district residents at its board meeting Tuesday evening. As of the 2013-14 academic year, in-district students will pay $88 per credit hour, an increase of $4.50 per credit hour over this year.
