Kalamazoo County among those participating in program to help homeowners facing foreclosure

Michigan homeowners who are behind on their property taxes or mortgage can apply for a forgivable loan from the state of up to $30,000. The program - Helping Michigan's Hardest Hit Homeowners - has received nearly $500 million in federal money to distribute to people in danger of losing their homes.
