Report shows recovery rates vary throughout Michigan

Several Michigan cities aren't expected to recover all the jobs lost during the recent economic downturn until beyond 2023. Meanwhile, the Grand Rapids and Ann Arbor areas already have surpassed their pre-recession peak employment levels, according to a forecast by IHS Global Insight compiled for the U.S. Conference of Mayors.
