KALAMAZOO, MI -- The fourth running of the Kalamazoo Marathon will have some new scenery this year as the course will be a little different than the first three years. Runners will not have to endure the rather large hill on South Drake Road to get to Western Michigan University's Parkview Campus.

Michelle Grevenstuk of Otsego wins women's Kalamazoo Marathon

KALAMAZOO, MI - Michelle Grevenstuk approached the Kalamazoo Marathon with a "why not" attitude. The 31-year-old Otsego resident competed in the inaugural 26.2-mile run at the Borgess Run for the Health of It in Kalamazoo two years ago, she was a spectator last year and on Sunday she was a winner.
