Lake Michigan College Looks to Sell M-TEC Center

BENTON TOWNSHIP - Organizations' need change all the time, which is why Lake Michigan College is ready to sell the M-TEC building and place its manufacturing technology program on its Napier Avenue campus, officials said. LMC's Board of Trustees on Tuesday authorized President Bob Harrison to start negotiating the building's sale.

Lake Michigan College Launches First Four Year Degree Program

Legislation passed in 2010 made it possible for community colleges to offer bachelor's degrees in some fields
BENTON TOWNSHIP - The moment's been on the horizon for awhile, but Lake Michigan College can now grant four-year degrees. Students can start enrolling this fall in the college's energy production and distribution management program, for which they can earn a bachelor of applied science degree, which marks a historic moment for LMC, President Bob Harrison said.
