On Tuesday, the Kalamazoo County aeronautics board voted unanimously to allow its attorneys begin discussing separation from employment with the attorneys of Cliff Moshoginis, who has been on leave since at least Sept.

Drivers under the influence to pay flat fees for Kalamazoo emergency response

KALAMAZOO, MI -- The Kalamazoo City Commission on Monday adjusted emergency response fees that District Court applies to people convicted operating under the influence in the city Since 2001, the city has charged OWI defendants at a per-minute rate depending on an officer's rank, based on the amount of time the officer spent responding, investigating, arresting, processing, analyzing evidence and writing reports on individual cases.

Six teachers resign, six others hired at Kalamazoo Public Schools

Portage interim superintendent to be reimbursed pension fine

WMU East Hall design meetings start in October

The university's birthplace is slated to be renovated and turned into the Western Michigan University Alumni Center, with work beginning in Spring 2014.
