CHICAGO- Junior forward Marquisha Harris totaled 19 points and a career-high 19 rebounds in Western Michigan's 67-49 win at Chicago State Sunday. Her 19 rebounds tied as the third most in a single game in Bronco women's basketball history. Harris shot 7-for-15 from the floor and collected six caroms on the offensive side of the glass.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.- Western Michigan gave undefeated Arkansas one of its toughest tests of the season in a 61-46 loss Sunday on the road. The Bronco defense held their SEC opponent 17 points under their season scoring average. WMU's 15-point loss also tied as the smallest margin of victory for Razorbacks, who entered the game defeating opponents by 35 points per game.

What Western Michigan women's coach Shane Clipfell would like to see, though, is a little bit of the old, defensive basketball. The Broncos showed they could score points at will on Thursday night when they rolled over the University of Detroit, 103-86.

Shane Clipfell seemed to want the moment the Western Michigan University women's basketball team experienced in Cleveland on Wednesday to linger for a while. Clipfell led the Broncos into the second round of the Mid-American Conference Tournament in Cleveland in his first year as head coach, which was a goal reached but not a mission accomplished as ninth-seeded Western Michigan fell to fifth-seeded Bowling Green, 55-53.
