Borgess Health CEO Paul Spaude to Retire

Spaude has been the top executive at the Kalamazoo hospital since 2005.
KALAMAZOO, MI -- Paul Spaude, president and chief executive officer of Borgess Health, will retire in September. The man credited with leading the growth of the health system's outpatient care system and an in-house culture that advanced patient care, plans to leave his posts to spend more time with family, the hospital announced.

KALAMAZOO, MI - One of Kalamazoo's two major hospitals is laying off part of its workforce and is issuing layoff notices Thursday, a spokesman for Borgess Medical Center confirmed. "Communication with all 4,100 Borgess associates is taking place at this time.
