Southwest Michigan economy continues to improve

KALAMAZOO, MI - Southwest Michigan's economy continues to gain strength. And business in the automotive industry continues to be a catalyst for that here and throughout Michigan, a local economist says. "Michigan is doing well primarily because of automotive," said Brian G. Long, director of Supply Chain Management Research at Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids.
