KALAMAZOO, MI -- The Kalamazoo Farmers Market will open for the season Saturday, May 3, with some changes intended to improve customer access. Chris Broadbent, who manages the market for the People's Food Co-op of Kalamazoo, said he has made layout changes to the market to make space for more customers, make the market easier to walk through and to increase business owners' abilities to interact with and sell to customers.
