(Lansing-Gongwer News Service) Michigan Congresswoman Candice Miller is not ruling out a run for governor in 2018.  

WASHINGTON – U.S. Rep. Candice Miller, who moved to Congress in 2003 after two terms as a popular Michigan secretary of state, announced Thursday that she will not run for re-election in 2016. Miller, a Republican, told the Free Press in an interview her surprise decision was based solely on a belief that she has been in the nation's capital long enough and she is looking to spend more time at home in Michigan.
