college costs

GRAND RAPIDS, MI - In an effort to cut costs, Calvin College is offering buyouts for up to seven faculty in its music, history and art departments. The Christian liberal arts college is working to cut annual expenses by $4.5 million by June 30, 2017, and the buyouts are needed to align faculty levels in each department with desired staffing goals, said college spokesman Matt Kucinski.
