On Sunday, the Kalamazoo Ballet will perform three scenes from Dracula, an original ballet executive director Terry Bullard wrote nearly 20 years ago. You can see excerpts of the ballet Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Bullard School of Dance.

Square Dance Kalamazoo's resident band Bowhunter is coming out with their first album called The Right Hands Round. They'll premiere a few of their songs at the upcoming SDK event at Bell's Eccentric Cafe on Monday night at 7:30 p.m.

...Well, you remember the famous Saturday Night Live skit with Mike Meyers.  

This weekend you can celebrate what it means to be Scottish at the Celtic Ceilidh in Kalamazoo. The Ceilidh will take place Saturday at 4:30 at the Kalamazoo Ballet’s Bullard School of Dance on South Street.

Last week, Michael Miller of Wellspring: Cori Terry & Dancers did a run through of his choreography called “Crackers in Bed.” The dancers posed to recreate familiar Norman Rockwell paintings and then transitioned to the next scene to the tune of a modern DJ.

Miller will premiere the dance at this year’s Midwest Regional Alternative Dance Festival also known as RAD Fest.

The festival will take place Thursday through Saturday at the Wellspring Theatre in Kalamazoo's Epic Center.
