KALAMAZOO, MI -- A number of blighted homes across Kalamazoo are set to be demolished this year after the Kalamazoo City Commission accepted a state grant Monday to fund the work. KALAMAZOO, MI -- The Kalamazoo City Commission signed off on a resolution Monday night in favor of Michigan's Proposal 1 to support road funding. Commissioners voted 7-0 in favor of the resolution, which urges voters to support the proposal when it heads to the ballot on May 5. (Kalamazoo Gazette)

Commissioners decided to move ahead on a 4-2 vote Monday night
