Kalamazoo, union representing police officers agree on four year contract

KALAMAZOO, MI -- The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety police officers' union and city officials have worked out a contract for the next four years. The contract, unanimously approved by the Kalamazoo City Commission after a closed-door session Monday evening, begins Dec. 1, 2013 and lasts until Dec. 31, 2017.

Kalamazoo Public Safety gets six new officers, assistant chief
