Resignation Creates Third Vacancy on Kalamazoo School Board

Kalamazoo Public Schools board trustee Mark Totten announced his resignation Friday. Totten did not give a reason for resigning, but he is running for Michigan Attorney General this November.
KALAMAZOO, MI -- For the third time since August, the Kalamazoo Public Schools needs to fill a vacancy on its seven-member school board. Trustee Mark Totten has announced he is resigning his seat on the board, effective at the end of the month. In August, board Treasurer Ervin Armstrong resigned for personal reasons.
