PORTAGE, MI - The Portage City Council will decide tonight who will fill a two-year vacancy after interviewing four candidates Monday evening. The council had expected to interview four people Monday -- Cory Bailes, Richard Ford, James Graham and Betty Lee Ongley - but Bailes immediately announced he was dropping out of consideration.

PORTAGE, MI - Four candidates will be interviewed Dec. 16 to fill a vacancy on the Portage City Council. The Portage City Council Tuesday voted 6-0 to interview the four people who applied to serve the remaining two years on the term of former Councilwoman Elizabeth Campbell: Cory Bailes, Richard Ford, James Graham and Betty Lee Ongley.
