The American Red Cross says it is closing the remaining shelters and warming centers that have been open in Southwest Michigan since Sunday's severe storms. 

Most customers should have service back on Thursday

Thousands still waiting for service to be restored


A news release says that shelters in Kent and Ionia Counties opened after Sunday's storms will also close. Other shelters including in Kalamazoo, Cass and Van Buren Counties will remain open.
