(MPRN-Lansing) Flint could name its own experts to oversee the response to the city’s drinking water crisis under a bill just sent to the state Senate floor. 

(Michigan Radio-Flint) Starting Friday Flint residents will be bombarded with radio and TV ads urging them to flush their pipes.

(MPRN-Lansing) The legislative committee looking into the Flint water crisis wrapped up hearings Tuesday without hearing from Governor Rick Snyder, his senior aides, or former emergency managers who were in charge of the city at the outset of the debacle.

(MPRN-Lansing) The state’s health director says an outbreak of Legionnaires’ disease in Genesee County did not get the attention it deserved from his agency. He says it was partially due to the department’s focus on a different health threat that never materialized.
