When Governor Rick Snyder signed legislation making Michigan the 24th "right to work" state it was a blow to the labor movement. 

The Michigan Court of Appeals ruled in August that state employees are covered by the law.

Survey was conducted by Center for Local, State and Urban Policy at the University of Michigan
