(MPRN-Lansing) Governor Rick Snyder’s administration is considering its next move after a judge blocked a state takeover of four academically struggling elementary schools in the East Detroit district. 

A Wall Street rating agency report is raising questions about the fiscal outlook for many Michigan school districts. 

"KALAMAZOO, MI -- Kalamazoo Public Schools Board of Education on Thursday approved a 2015-16 general fund budget of almost $142 million, up an estimated $6.3 million or 4.6 percent from the current year." (Kalamazoo Gazette)
