Western Michigan will host a first round game in the Mid-American Conference women’s basketball tournament. The Broncos enter the MAC tournament as the number five seed.

KALAMAZOO, MI - You almost get the feeling the Western Michigan men's basketball team wants to play five games in the Mid-American Conference tournament next week when talking to players and coaches. The Broncos have had illness, injuries, ups, downs, good wins and bad losses. When coach Steve Hawkins has had every player healthy and dressed WMU has been a good team - 7-1 in MAC play as a matter of fact.


Western Michigan's Women's Basketball team lost on Wednesday at Eastern Michigan, 74-65. The Broncos are currently the number seven seed for the Mid-American Conference Tournament which begins next week.
