What's new at WMUK

Rebecca Thiele, WMUK

We are sad to say goodbye to Erin Williams, our newest producer for WMUK's arts and culture show Arts & More.

Williams will be returning to St. Louis to work in public relations at the Opera Theatre of St. Louis. Her last show will air this Saturday.

We wish her the best of luck!

Mark Sahlgren, the co-host of WMUK's acoustic music show Grassroots, will receive a Community Medal of Arts Award from the Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo.

Radio and oral history producer Nancy Camden joined our arts and culture team in 2010 at age 60. Since then she's been creating sound rich audio features for our Arts & More program: mostly local history and human interest stories.

WMUK staff will be at the Art Fair in downtown Kalamazoo.  Our tent is on the south side of the Rotary Band Shell in Bronson Park.  Stop by to pick up one of our new tote-bags and talk with staff.  We'll be in the park until 9 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday.
