Radio and oral history producer Nancy Camden joined our arts and culture team in 2010 at age 60. Since then she's been creating sound rich audio features for our Arts & More program: mostly local history and human interest stories.

WMUK staff will be at the Art Fair in downtown Kalamazoo.  Our tent is on the south side of the Rotary Band Shell in Bronson Park.  Stop by to pick up one of our new tote-bags and talk with staff.  We'll be in the park until 9 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday.

Saturday afternoon, Paw Paw Cub Scouts Troop 169 visited the WMUK studios on the Western Michigan University campus.  They learned about broadcasting on the way to finishing their Tiger Badges.

Williams recently completed a year-long fellowship with St. Louis Public Radio where she reported on race and cultural issues in the area.
