Criminal Charges Issued in Connection with Springfield Medical Marijuana Raids

Kalamazoo City Commission Approves Lease for Bronson Park

Battle Creek School Board Votes Not to Privatize Bus Service

The Battle Creek Board of Education voted Monday to keep its bus services in-house and told its superintendent it was time to make a decision about the future of Clear Lake Camp. In a packed meeting at the Miller Stone Building, the board voted 6-0, with board Treasurer Art McClenney absent, to approve a new contract with its bus drivers union instead of an outside vendor.

KALAMAZOO, MI -- John L. Zabriskie Jr., former chairman and chief executive officer of The Upjohn Co., died Thursday at his home in Boulder, Colo., after a bout with throat cancer. He was 74. Zabriskie was chairman and CEO of The Upjohn Co.
