Undocumented immigrant arrest part of "sting operation" ends up in Calhoun County Jail

BOSTON, MA -- Dr. Eric Blackwell has run more than 15 marathons, each ending with a feeling of joy and accomplishment. Monday's Boston Marathon was robbed of that. Blackwell, a physician at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo, finished the race an hour and a half before the two explosions that killed two and left dozens of others injured.

Eight percent of teen girls in SW Michigan forced to have sex

KALAMAZOO, MI -- It appears young women in southwest Michigan are less likely to have experienced sexually assault compared to young women statewide. Still, one of every 12 high school girls in the region reports that she has been physically forced to have sexual intercourse, according to a 2011-12 survey.
