(MPRN-Lansing) Lawmakers in Lansing want to make Michigan roads safer. Republican Senator Margaret O’Brien (R-Portage) hopes to wrap up bills to make bicyclists safer on the roads soon.

(MPRN-Lansing) A state lawmaker wants to require driver education in Michigan to include training on how to behave during police stops. He hopes it will reduce misunderstandings and conflicts.

(MPRN-Lansing) State lawmakers have hit a roadblock when it comes to forgiving unpaid Driver Responsibility Fees. The House and Senate have legislation to get rid of the controversial fee, and forgive those who haven’t paid it.
