The Michigan Department of Transportation is close to re-negotiating a deal on leased rail cars that are sitting un-used in a state lot. 


The Michigan Department of Transportation and Amtrak have announced additional trains between Michigan and Chicago around Thanksgiving. 

Upgrades should be completed by 2017 or 2018
