Flutist Chris Norman and violinist David Greenberg are fluent in at least two musical languages: the works of 18th century Baroque composers like Bach and Telemann, and the 18th century Scottish folk tradition as practiced in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.

For the third year in a row, Western Michigan University has been named one of America’s most environmentally responsible universities. The Princeton review and the U.S. Green Building Council point to the purchase of five Ford Transit Connect electric vehicles and fifteen new charging stations attached to a massive solar panel as just a few of the university’s successes.

Western Michigan University theater students will perform the Pulitzer prize winning drama, Ruined Thursday night.

“The play takes place in the eastern portion of the Democratic Republic of Congo," says Director Awoye Timpo. "And it’s all about the lives of the men and women who have been affected by the war that’s been going on there.”
