Attorneys say Kellogg Community College Board May Have Violated Open Meetings Act

The Kellogg Community College board may have violated the Open Meetings Act when it met in closed session Monday about an investigation into President Dennis Bona's conduct, two attorneys said independently Wednesday. Jonathan Byrd, chairman of the KCC Board of Trustees, placed Bona on a non-disciplinary paid administrative leave on March 27 over concerns about his "interactions with college personnel," KCC officials have said.
