Committee Vote Expected Wednesday on Teacher Evaluation Bills

Education advocates are keeping a watchful eye Wednesday on two bills that would create a statewide teacher evaluation system for Michigan. At 10:30 a.m., the House education committee is expected to vote on HB 5223 and HB 5224, designed to implement a new teacher evaluation system that for the first time would include student growth in rating a teacher's performance.
