Educational Achievement Authority Chancellor Steps Down

LANSING -- The man in charge of leading Michigan's recovery school district for some of the most academically struggling Detroit schools is stepping down. John Covington, who has led the Education Achievement Authority since its inception in 2012, is leaving to care for his ill mother and will be starting a consulting firm looking at education issues.
