Federal Court Sets August 6th Date to Hear Arguments in Same-Sex Marriage Case
U.S. District Judge Bernard Friedman struck down Michigan's ban on same-sex marriage in March. The ruling is stayed during appeal
According to a court filing entered today, the arguments will take place at 1 p.m. Aug. 6 before a three-judge appeals panel in Cincinnati. According to the notice that was issued today, each side will receive 30 minutes. Names of the judges sitting on the panel will be revealed two weeks prior to the argument.
