GRAND RAPIDS, MI - After days spent surging to historic levels, the Grand River finally crested Sunday night in downtown Grand Rapids and Comstock Park. Measurements from the National Weather Service in Grand Rapids show the river peaked at 21.85 feet downtown around 10 p.m., breaking the record of 19.64 feet set in 1985.
