Kalamazoo Superintendent Michael Rice Gets High Marks in School Board Evaluation
Rice's compensation will be set in summer as part of district's budget
KALAMAZOO, MI -- Kalamazoo Public Schools Superintendent Michael Rice got high marks in his annual evaluation by the KPS board. In a statement issued by trustees, they commended Rice for his "exceptional progress in leading our district." Rice exceeded or met the board's expectations in the areas of general responsibilities, instructional leadership, personnel, administration, and school and community relations, the statement said.
